HOW CAN I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
There are several ways to make an appointment.

Email us at office@springhillortho.com.au and one of our friendly staff can phone or email you back regarding your appointment time. Please be sure to leave enough contact information to make the appointment.

DO I NEED A REFERRAL TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
You are able to book the appointment, but you will need a valid referral to claim medicare benefits back at the time of the appointment. If you don't have a referral, you are unable to reclaim this amount from medicare. A valid referral is provided by your GP, an emergency department doctor, or another specialist.
WorkCover patients only require their WorkCover number.
DOES DR WATTS TREAT DVA AND WORKCOVER PATIENTS

I INJURED MY FOOT BADLY YESTERDAY. MY GP THINKS I NEED TO SEE AN ORTHOPAEDIC SURGEON. CAN I GET AN ACUTE APPOINTMENT?
Dr Watts prioritises urgent referrals for acute injuries. This kind of referral is usually overseen by your GP, or emergency department doctor. There are frequent allocated appointments available for acute injuries, in the doctors schedule. Dr Watts can review your doctors referral, and allocate a suitable time for your appointment.
Dr Watts participates on an on-call roster in both the public and private hospitals. She accepts many acute referrals from these hospital services.

I HAVE A BOOKING TO SEE DR WATTS VIA MEDILAW. DOES SHE SEE MEDILAW BOOKINGS IN HER CONSULTATION SUITES?
No. Medilaw patients are seen in the Medilaw Rooms. These are located a short distance away, at 4/113 Wickham Terrace.

DOES DR WATTS PARTICIPATE IN GAP COVER SCHEME
Sometimes.
Usually there is an out of pocket expense at the time of your consultation, and for surgery, if required. There is discount rate that is reserved for pensioners and health care card holders.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
There is undercover paid parking at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital. The entry is beside the Emergency Department on North Street. There is also paid parking under St Andrew’s Place. Metered street parking is available in surrounding streets.
